2019 New Cumberland Fall Riverfest


The eleventh annual New Cumberland Fall Riverfest will be held on Saturday,September 28th and Sunday, September 29th, 2019. It promises to be the best year ever with a full docket of top notched entertainment. Saturday starts out at 9:30AM with the Riverfest 5K led by Trisha Enochs with proceeds benefiting the Oak Glen High School Athletics Department.

Opening Ceremonies for the Riverfest begins at 11 AM with a performance by the outstanding Oak Glen High School Marching Band and a color guard from New Cumberland’s Boy Scout Troop.

An ongoing Riverfest Art Show, put on by the Hancock County Arts Council, displays the artistic talents of local artists and students. Saturday’s Riverfest Car Show ,captained by Jim Ewing ,will run from noon until five o’clock. It brings in more cars each year.

At 11:45, beloved local singer and guitar player, Mr.John Edwards ,will entertain at the Riverfest as he has every year. Michele’s Dance Studio brings their young dancers to strut their stuff on River Avenue, at 1:00. Sharyn Vinci and The Blues Crew will wail in the streets of New Cumberland starting at 2:45.

Nationally known recording artist Michael Christopher brings his acoustic trio to the Riverfest Stage at 4:30PM. Then at 6:15 that fantastic Easy Street Band rocks the Riverfest into the FIREWORKS at 8:15.

Sunday morning at 11:00 starts the day with a Community Church Service along with the angelic sounds of “Anchored By Grace”. The Little Miss New Cumberland Pageant takes place at 1:00. Something new this year is a performance by the “New Towne Cloggers”. They take the stage at 2:00. Then we have the very talented Dave Morgan with vocals and guitar to bring the Riverfest to a close.

Fifty vendors, constant entertainment, lots of food and smiles are offered at the New Cumberland Fall Riverfest. Come Home To New Cumberland on September 28 & 29, 2019. Welcome to our party!
