A peaceful place for animals and people. Barn With Inn offers an elegant yet homey farm experience focusing on farm life, animal care, and local farm-to-table foods. Our guests enjoy the salt-water pool, boating on the pond, lounging in the hammock, going for hikes, playing with the animals, and perusing the butterfly gardens. Our comfortable accommodations feature private bathrooms, a pool changing room, a potting room, and an outdoor shower.
The Barn With Inn is part of a larger barn that houses livestock and farming/gardening equipment. It was constructed in stages. The first section was a milking barn located in Wellsburg, WV that was moved to the farm in the 1980’s to house sheep. A new addition was added in the mid 1980’s, constructed with local wood and salvaged materials. You can still see the milking shed within the barn. One-third of the barn is converted into two guest units, a half bathroom, and potting room.

11 months agoWe stayed here for two nights and it was the best experience possible. The owners where very friendly and went above and beyond at every opportunity. The animals where friendly, the farm was relaxing, and the food they served us was some of the best we have ever had. We are so happy we stayed here.

2 years agoChapman and Harry could not have been nicer, and we had an amazing stay. We were passing through Wellsburg on a big road trip, and booked a stay at Barn With Inn on a whim. Wow. We stayed in Hazel's cottage which was clean and cozy. In the morning we were able to enjoy feeding time with all of the animals and had a perfect breakfast in the farmhouse. We can't stop talking about what a great experience it was (and much more memorable than just staying in a motel). Will definitely be returning and recommending to other friends driving through WV.

4 years agoOur stay here was great! Chatman and Harry were great hosts. I think a stay at Barn With Inn can't be talked about without mentioning all the animals and how welcoming they are; there are too many to mention here but some shout outs to Mavis, Jesko, Daphne, and Cooper. We are already planning our next stay and attending one of the dinners the Inn sponsors.

4 years agoThis review is long overdue. Met Chatman and Harry through a local newspaper assignment. Went back to stay one night and had a wonderful experience. Beautiful property full of character and charm. Lovingly home cooked food. And close to my old stomping grounds of Bethany. Going to take my road bike next time I go back and take a cruise down 844 like the old days. Highly recommend.

4 years agoStayed here with my daughters (11 and 4) because no hotels were close enough to Bethany for a vball tourney. Really cool place will have to go back when the weather isn't freezing.
