Mario’s Italian Restaurant

We visit Mario's Lounge almost every week. Food, service, and atmosphere is always top notch. Wife and I love the Lounge, it is our #1 happy hour go-to place in town!

This was my first visit to Mario's. Mario's seems to be very popular in Weirton and for good reasons. The food is very good, plentiful and at reasonable prices. Though the restaurant was packed, all the staff were pleasant and in good spirits.

I'll start out by saying I'm not from the area. There has been a lot of discussion about the pizza served here in a Facebook group I'm in. So when I realized I was near here yesterday, I had to stop in and try it! I ordered 3 slices and a bowl of pepper soup to go (i like to eat in my truck). The pizza is excellent! It had a slight crunch to it that was very enjoyable. I've never had this style pizza and was very impressed. The pepper soup was excellent as well! It had a slight spice to it that was very nice! The hostess (may have been a server) was very friendly! For 3 slices, a bowl of soup, and tipping the girl who took my order $2.00, my total was in the $9.00 area! How do you beat that for lunch! I will definitely stop back next time I'm in the area!

Service is always spot on and welcoming. We started dinner 🍽 tonight with calamari and that first little squid 🐙 was mouth watering. Then the legendary wedding soup, when you miss your mother in laws wedding soup, head on over to Mario's and we finished up with the antipasta salad and veal parm. You can't go wrong with Mario's Restaurante'!! 🍝🥗👨‍🍳

I absolutely love Mario's. I moved her about 2 months ago and I am hooked. I grew up on Italian Food so it's my favorite but also a bit picky. Everything you get from there is excellent. The service is phenomenal and the atmosphere is great. They have an entire bar in the back as this is and will be my go to place. Thanks for the great service and great food
