a year agoClassic Northern WV Italian restaurant with great food and service. I had the lasagna and some clam chowder as an appetizer, and the flavor and quality of both were top-notch. Erin, our server was friendly and very attentive although she was extremely busy. I recommend.

a year agoGiving it a 1 star not because of the food. The food was delicious, the service and rules, had a party of over 12 and they said the meals had to be on one check, which in my mind is ridiculous, and on top of that a 18% gratuity was automatically added to the bill. Which I normally tip over 20% but since the waitress was automatically given 18 percent she didn't care about the service. I got 1 drink the whole time. No plates for the appetizers, no extra napkins, absolutely pathetic, I will never take a group here again

6 months agoPretty much an average restaurant with not much to shout about. It is clean and not really too crowded with adequate room to move about. The server we had was excellent and took our orders efficiently even though there were multiple bills it didn't seem to faze her. She knew the menu well and helped with quick explanations. The food is good, and portions are large. Some could have had additional sauce but still tasty. Parking is a bit difficult with all access from the main street and you have to drive down an alley to get back to the main street. We were only able to locate one marked handicap space in a lot that holds about 60 cars. Not nearly enough. The restroom is definitely not handicap accessible due the extremely small size, only one stall and I don't recall any handrails.

a year agoMy wife and I dined at Mario's last evening. I had the most excellent eggplant parmesan and rigatoni meal. The eggplant was breaded and baked to perfection. The rigatoni and sauce were wonderful. Our server Erin took great care of us and kept my beverage full. I would highly recommend Mario's because of their excellent service and food.

3 weeks agoPhones never work. Tried to place order thru the window and kid says they don’t take orders thru the window. Then just walks away. I’ve purchased a lot of orders through here and on the hill, but they’ve lost my business. Steubenville has better pizza anyway.
