Very clean and beautiful lake. Walked around both sides and was very peaceful.

I didn’t get a bite fishing but I did get stung by one of the 5 hornets that are hiding out in the portajohn by the parking lot. Good thing I didn’t have an allergic reaction. On a positive note I will say the parking lot is one of the closest to the lake that I have been too, but the hornet thing may have ruined it for me.

The fishing is great. The scenery is beautiful. The wildlife is all around and to watch. It is a clean lake. There are several spots to fish from the banks. Boat ramp that is easy in and out. The grounds are usually pretty well clean from too much trash. Famly, kid, handicap friendly. Only downfall is that it's popular and sometimes getting a spot is like fishing lol I love it there. Been going for almost 40 years.
